How to update your Spinshot Pickleball machine with the latest Drill Maker drills

Pickleball Drill Maker Update September 2023

When we released an update to Drill Maker in September 2023 we updated the custom drill factory settings to improve the performance and consistency of shots.

Because of this update the drills on Drill Maker are newer than those that are programmed onto your machine. To get the best performance from your Pickleball machine, you should update Drill Maker to the latest version and complete a drill update to sync your machine with Drill Maker.

Once you have saved the new drills onto your machine both Drill Maker and your Pickleball machine’s drills will be synced with the latest drill settings. Follow these instructions to save the new drills onto your new Pickleball machine.

How to update your Pickleball machine with the latest drills on Drill Maker

For New Machines:

  1. Download Drill Maker from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Power up the Pickleball machine
  3. Wait for beep to indicate the machine intialization has finished
  4. Press play, then press stop
  5. Connect your phone to the ball machine’s wifi or connect via BlueTooth
  6. Open Drill Maker and press Connect
  7. Long press on Drill 1 to open the drill settings and press the Save button. A message will pop up to confirm the drill settings have been saved.
  8. Repeat for all 12 drills

For Updating Used Machines:

  1. Run the Drill Maker app update f rom the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open Drill Maker and long press on the drill button to check that the drill names match those listed on the Drill Maker September 2023 update page.
    If the Drill names on Drill Maker don't match those listed on the above page you will need to delete the Drill Maker app from your phone and reinstall it to force the updated drills to appear.
  3. Power up the Pickleball machine
  4. Wait for beep to indicate the machine intialization has finished
  5. Press play, then press stop
  6. Connect your phone to the ball machine’s wifi or connect via BlueTooth
  7. Open Drill Maker and press Connect
  8. Long press on Drill 1 to open the drill settings and press the Save button. A message will pop up to confirm the drill settings have been saved.
  9. Repeat for all 12 drills
Your machine is now up to date with the latest drills. You may like to customise these drills further to suit your skill and fitness level.
